This Is How Russia Moves – Moscow-Vladivostok: virtual journey on Google Maps
Ever wondered what it’s like to be in the drivers spot of the russian Trans Siberian Railway?! Or you always wanted to see Russia but never had the money, time or appropriate warm clothes to actually go there? Don’t worry you can get the perfect view in your own, warm house without the hassle. Here you go:
The great Trans Siberian Railway, the pride of Russia, goes across two continents, 12 regions and 87 cities. Yes, that is A LOT! The joint project of Google and the Russian Railways lets you take a trip along the famous route and see Baikal, Khekhtsirsky range, Barguzin mountains, Yenisei river and many other picturesque places of Russia without leaving your house. During the trip, you can enjoy Russian classic literature, brilliant images by photographer Anton Lange and fascinating stories about the most attractive sites on the route. You probably didn’t think a trip through Russia could be that inexpensive
The whole project is about 7 days though, so feel free to watch all the videos of the journey and enjoy your mini vacation:)
