Gluehwein Recipe

Gluehwein keeps you warm and alive at Christmas Markets and during Skiing Vacations.

You heat up (do not boil!) red wine, break up a stick of cinnamon and add the pieces, add cloves, cut up pieces of fresh oranges or fresh orange juice, pour through a sieve, serve … simple and perfect! You may add sugar, if you wish, this is not necessary however, if the taste of the oranges and the wine is just right.

Cold weather is the best for Gluehwein, snow is preferable.
