Kale Chips
I have been using detox recipes, juicing fruits/veggies and making a lot of effort to try new, delicious healthy foods. I found this amazing. low calorie snack called Kale Chips. I loved salty things, so if I crave chips, I now just make some Kale chips instead of resisting my urge for real chips. These little chips are great as chips replacement or party food and very easy to make:)
Original recipe makes 6 servings
-
1 bunch kale
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- Some garlic salt
- Pepper ( if desired)
- Paprika (if desired)
Directions
- Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a non insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- With a knife or kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale. Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning salt and other spices.
- Bake until the edges brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.

I have made these kind of kale chips “raw” by using a food dehydrator. It takes about five to seven hours of dehydrating, but it keeps the enzymes intact.
